Arsenal starlet ruled out for the rest of the season

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has said that he doesn’t expect on-loan Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi to play again this season.
Miyaichi picked up an injury in Saturday’ FA Cup quarter-final demolition of Everton on Saturday.
No Oriental Flair
While the Japanese youngster’s results are not yet back, the Wigan boss is planning for his sides trip to Wembley and for their relegation battle without his skills.
The Japanese international joined the Latics on a season-long loan deal last summer, and has already been out for three months with an ankle problem.
Sky Sports have reported that the clubs official twitter feed broke the news – while also saying that the injury Callum McManaman suffered at Goodison was not serious.
Facing a battle
Miyaichi has featured only four times for the Latics this season, all of them from the bench.
Arsenal have been keen to send the youngster out to struggling Premier League sides – and he spent the second half of last year on loan to Bolton, for whom he made 12 appearances, assisting two goals.
Wigan are currently sitting in the relegation zone, three points from safety, although they do have a game in hand over Aston Villa.
Athletic’s next game is at home to Newcastle United, who beat Stoke City in the dying minutes of their game on Sunday.
