Wenger could still sign

Big-spending Paris Saint-German are hoping to attract Arsene Wenger to the club in the summer in attempt to increase the club’s popularity, reports the Daily Mail.
Arsenal have experienced a difficult season so far, having been knocked out of FA Cup and League Cup by lower league opposition.
The Gunners are also 3-1 down in their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich and five points adrift from the Premier League’s top four after a 2-1 defeat to rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
PSG currently sit top of Ligue 1 but the club’s Qatari owners are apparently losing their patience with current manager Carlo Ancelotti after a dip in form.
Why would Wenger Move?
Nasser Al-Khelaifi reportedly keeps in close contact with Wenger and believes that the 63 year old is the right man to employ in the summer should he choose to relieve Ancelotti of his duties.
A source told French radio station RMC Sport: “A French coach could help the club in terms of popularity. That is one aspect the owner sees as very important.”

However, the Gunners boss insists he will at least see out the remainder of his contract which ends in the summer of 2014 and may even carry on further.
The North London club’s fan base would probably welcome the Frenchman’s departure after repeatedly booing him and his team’s performances this season.
Wenger joined the club in September 1996 and has delivered three Premier titles, including the famous ‘invincibles’ in the 2003-04 season.
However the last trophy the Gunners won was the 2005 FA Cup, leading to criticism of Wenger in the last few years.
