United could raid Liverpool to replace fledgling star

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has allegedly lost patience with goalkeeper David De Gea.
According to the Daily Mail, the 19-time Premier League champions are considering bids for Stoke ‘keeper Asmir Begovic or Liverpool’s Pepe Reina as a replacement for the Spaniard.
The Spanish goalkeeper has not been able to maintain his position as the Red Devils’ number one this season and Ferguson may be looking for talent elsewhere.
Competition
Inconsistent performances have seen the former Atletico Madrid ‘keeper share first team duties with Danish shot stopper, Anders Lindegaard.
Ferguson is wants a more physical presence in the box and is believed to have asked David Gill for transfer funds to bring in a new goalkeeper.
Since moving to Old Trafford in 2011 for a British record fee for a goalkeeper of around £17million, De Gea has made 42 league appearances for the Red Devils.
But at the age of 22, Ferguson may be looking for a goalkeeper with more experience who is also eligible to play in the Champions League.
Both Begovic and Reina would be eligible, with both boasting a respectable number of Premier League appearances for their clubs.
