Mourinho would prefer Premier League return

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be poised for a return to Chelsea, instead of replacing Carlo Ancelotti at PSG, reports The Express.

Mourinho, who seems as if he was auditioning for the Man United job after his team’s 2-1 victory over United at Old Trafford on Tuesday, has been a Chelsea target for a while.

However Roman Abramovich’s attitude of sacking managers as and when he likes, suggests that a Mourinho return won’t be a match made in heaven.

Although PSG were in discussions with Mourinho over a potential job, interest seems to have faded on his part.

Dream

Le 10 Sport are lead to believe that it is Mourinho’s ‘dream’ to go back to Chelsea.

The same source also understands that super-agent Jorge Mendes is trying to speed up proceedings with Abramovich, whom he has a good relationship with.

The pair have allegedly been on the phone to each other over the last few weeks to try and make it happen.

The Special One guided Madrid to La Liga success last season, and domestic and European glory could also be on the cards tis year.
