Manchester United considering loan for youngster

Manchester United are considering sending Nick Powell out on loan next season.
Powell was signed from Crewe Alexandra in the summer, but has spent large amounts of time watching the first team from the side-lines.
Development
Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson wants to loan him out in order to give him some more first team games – in the hope that it will aid his development.
The Express has reported that Wigan and Bolton are two clubs that United have identified are good places for Powell to gain this experience.
Manchester have a good relationship with Wigan, who have forward Angelo Henriques currently at the club. The Latics also took Tom Cleverley on loan in 2010/2011, which lead to him improving significantly as a player.
Appearances
The 18-year-old has only made two Premier League appearances this season, scoring one goal with his only shot. However, he has made two cup appearances, as well as playing twice in the Champions League this season.
He burst into prominence with his performances for Crewe last year, for whom he played 41 times in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and creating a further eight.
Meanwhile, Henriquez has scored exactly the same amount as Powell in as many games. The on-loan forward has netted once for Wigan in two games.
