Kop flop wanted by Klopp

Borussia Dortmund coach, Jurgen Klopp, is hoping to lure Nuri Sahin back to the club to end his nightmare spells at both Real Madrid and Liverpool.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the Bundesliga champions are willing to make an offer to cut the Turkey international’s loan short and bring him back to Germany.

An almighty transfer tussle ensued between Arsenal and Liverpool in the summer to sign Sahin, with the Reds eventually winning the battle.

Arsene Wenger may be relieved that the Merseysiders beat them to the deal as the midfielder has failed to live up to the reputation he brought with him.

Issue

One issue Dortmund may have in bringing 24-year-old back to Signal Iduna Park would be affording his £70,000 a week wages.

But Klopp is determined to get the midfielder back into his squad after losing ground on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

The German champions are currently sitting behind Munich and Bayer Leverkusen in the league and face the real possibility of missing out on Champions League football next season.
