Hull City snap up United and Sunderland duo

Hull City have completed a double swoop to bring Sunderland’s David Meyler and Manchester United’s Robbie Brady to the KC Stadium for undisclosed fees, reports the club’s official website.
Steve Bruce has moved quickly to snap up Meyler, 23, who has been on loan at Hull for the past couple of months, he has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The Republic of Ireland international made his move to the Stadium of Light in 2008 after signing from Cork City as a 19-year-old.
Frustrating
The midfielder has had a frustrating time at the club, making just 25 league appearances in his near five year stay in the North East.
In his short loan spell with Hull this season, he has made 10 league appearances, scoring three times.
In a similar move, former Red Devil, Brady, 20, has also signed a three-and-a-half-year deal following a successful loan spell at the high-flying Championship side.
This is the second season in a row the Republic of Ireland international has been on loan with the Tigers.
Over the course of his two spells at the club he has made 51 league appearances, scoring four times.
