Five things we learned from Everton vs Wigan Athletic

Of all the scorelines predicted before the first FA Cup quarter final of the weekend, Everton 0-3 Wigan Athletic was a result few would have considered.
But the impossible became possible with three Wigan goals in just over three first half minutes.
Maynor Figueroa, Callum McManaman and Jordi Gomez were the goalscorers at Goodison Park as Roberto Martinez’s side pulled off a famous win.
Wigan progress to their first ever FA Cup semi final, while Everton fall short in the competition for the 18th straight campaign and miss out on a third semi final in five seasons.
The loss will leave Toffees boss David Moyes with much to ponder, as his contract is out at the end of the season and another chance of winning a trophy slips away.
