Five clubs which could sign Rooney this summer

Widespread reports over the last 24 hours have suggested Manchester United are ready to sell striker Wayne Rooney this summer.
The 27-year-old was dropped to the bench by Sir Alex Ferguson for Tuesday night’s crucial Champions League clash with Real Madrid, which the Red Devils lost 2-1.
According to the Independent, tensions have been growing between Rooney and his manager over recent months, with Ferguson calling the striker’s fitness and commitment to his work into question.
Rooney will have two years left on his contract come the summer, so it could be the ideal time for United to cash in on their highest-paid player.
A bid upwards of £20million could be enough, according to the newspaper, to persuade Ferguson to part with the player he signed from Everton in 2004.
But if Rooney was to leave Old Trafford, where could he realistically go?
