Chelsea star wants to play in Madrid next season

Thibaut Courtois has spoken of his desire to spend next season on loan at Atletico Madrid, rather than return to parent club Chelsea.
The Belgian youngster helped the Spanish club reach the final of the Copa del Rey, and has expressed his desire to extend his loan deal into a third season.
Successful
In an incredibly successful two years, Courtois has won the Europa League, the Uefa Super Cup (against Chelsea) and has now reached the final of the Copa del Rey.
The 20-year-old is yet to make a single appearance for Chelsea, who signed him from Juliper Pro League team Genk in 2011.
The ‘keeper was reported by Goal.com as being in no hurry to return to Stamford Bridge to warm the bench: “Everyone knows I like it here and, if I can, I want to stay.
“I am happy, I like my life here, my team-mates. It is not just my decision, Chelsea and Atletico also have to talk.”
Record breaker
Courtois recently set a new club record after Atletico went 820 minutes without conceding a goal, until they lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad on Sunday.
In 26 La Liga games this season, the Belgian has kept 14 clean sheets. In the 2011/2012 season, the 21-year-old played 37 league games, making 87 saves in the process.
Along with the 26 La Liga games Courtois has played in this season, he has also been picked six times for Belgium. Four of those six games came in World Cup Qualifiers, showing the faith that his national side have placed in such a young player.
