Chelsea defender hints at move
Chelsea defender David Luiz has given his biggest hint yet about his future at the club.
The Brazilian has been consistently linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and reports have stated that a number of big name clubs may attempt to snap him up.
Barcelona are thought to be the frontrunners in the race for the big centre back and could be ready to table a bid.
Luiz raised huge speculation over his future at the London club when he refused to answer any questions about it.
The Sun reports that Luiz had said: “I really don’t want to talk about my future. At the moment I am only thinking about the national team.”
The Brazilian international represented his nation in the game against England and has another friendly game against France before the Confederations Cup later this summer.
Luiz was also asked if he was looking forward to working with the man who is widely expected to take over as manager at Chelsea, Jose Mourinho.
To which he replied: “I don’t want to answer that question.”
The player’s refusal to fully answer any question regarding his future may mean he is already on his way out of the club.
Luiz arrived at Chelsea in 2011 and has been a regular in the first team ever since, making 62 appearances and scoring six times.
