Arsenal must double up to sign Welsh star
Arsenal had reportedly offered a bid of £6 million for the defender; the Swans want more in the region of £12 million for their captain.
The Daily Mirror state that if Arsene Wenger wants to get his man in Ashley Williams, he will have to part with double of his original offer for the Welshman.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the 28 year old all throughout the summer, and it is make or break whether this deal will go through as Swansea state their demands.
It is believed that Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is angry with the low offers from Arsenal, and the Daily Mirror state the Swans are unhappy with the unrealism with the North London side’s intentions.
Jenkins is very angry about the offers and he is threatening to call off the whole deal between Arsenal and Swansea.
The Swans chairman is already trying to keep his captain at the club, and if he pulls the plug on the deal he may be able to keep his prized defender.
