Arsenal could make one final bid for this Premier League star
Arsene Wenger is ready to make one final bid for the Uruguayan as he seeks to strengthen his squad on Deadline Day.
Luis Suarez would be a major coup for the Gunners as he has the ability to score goals from nothing and is a bright spark in and around the box. This was highlighted by the fact he managed to score 30 goals for an average Liverpool team last season even with missing the final four league games.
This amount of goals would take the Gunners to the next level as a club and would see them become a force in English and European football once more.
The only problem with this deal has been Liverpool’s reluctance to sell to a rival club but if Arsenal can make a high enough offer their hand might be forced on the final day if the player wishes to move.
Liverpool know however that Wenger is under pressure to spend and they will most likely command a fee of £60m if they are to sell him to a rival, much like when they received £50m from Chelsea for Fernando Torres in January 2011. Will there be a happier ending for Reds fans this time round?
